Prophecy: Our Finest Hour

I had a prophetic dream having to do with the turbulent days we’re living in now.  I wanted to share this dream of hope for all of us who will be probably experiencing great turmoil in the coming years.

I had the dream before Memorial Day, which is a time when we reflect on those who have given their all for the benefit of others. The day marks a people who have sacrificed unselfishly for the maintaining of freedom and righteousness that others would enjoy, passing onto us the baton of freedom so that we can pass it on to the next generation.

In my dream, I walked into the greenroom at a Matt Sorger Ministries conference (where I worked at the time) and I glanced over and I saw the guest speaker — he was Winston Churchill. I was thrilled and eager to meet him, so I shook his hand and a mighty tangible anointing of the Holy Spirit fell on us both.

I wanted to thank him for all that he meant to me and a generation of people, since he was the one who encouraged his generation to stand tall against evil during the world’s darkest hour of World War II, and he was the one who buoyed Europe with morale-boosting speeches, telling them that the fight against the Nazis and the victory over evil would be their “finest hour!”   He encouraged a nation, and the world, to remain faithful and strong. I wanted to tell him more, but when I reminded him his “finest hour” speech,  I could not continue as the Holy Spirit overcame us both.

I felt after I awoke that Winston Churchill represented a legacy for today of those who would stand tall and lead this present generation, encouraging us all that — though things get darker, and they will — this too would be our “finest hour!” 

So, even though things look ominous all around us, don’t give up. Keep the faith. These days will also become your “finest hour” too. God is going to unleash mighty power upon us. Your greatest days are yet to come, and they are upon us now.
